REGENT HOME IMPROVEMENTS is a division of Regent Homes, a well known family business established over 20 years ago by its Managing Director, Mike Sugars. After working as a Carpenter and Builder for many years prior, Mike quickly realized the need to throw away the tools as the business grew quickly due to his attention to detail and quality of finish, and as the recommendations followed.
Mike still visits as many sites as possible himself, but more importantly ensures that his staff are instilled with his same values, from the initial ‘Client Needs Analysis’, through to the handing over of a high quality Extension or Renovation.
Both of Mike’s sons, Brad and Aaron are also intimately involved in the business, so you can be assured that Regent Home Improvements will continue to offer the same service and values well into the future.
Our Process

Step 1 – No Cost Obligation-Free Consultation
Our consultant will visit you for a comprehensive obligation-free consultation service. This is when we discuss your individual needs, offer our experience and guidance, and together establish your exact requirements and expectations. From here, and working within your budget, we offer a concept design and budget pricing.

Step 2 – Preliminary Agreement
Once the initial concept design and scope of works is agreed, a standard HIA (Housing Industry Association) Preliminary Agreement is drafted and a deposit paid.
This then enables Regent Home Improvements to prepare initial CAD drawings to help “firm up” your pricing structure. Depending on the complexity of the works it also enables us to get Engineering Calculations completed, along with your Specification of works. -
Step 3 – Contracts and Specifications
Once you are happy with the detailed Plans and Pricing structure, we then formalize the agreements and prepare HIA (Housing Industry Association) Contracts and fully itemized specifications for your project.
Contracts are then signed and documentation is then forwarded to the relevant council and other authorities for the necessary approvals. Once all approvals are obtained, together with your Bank Finance approval if required, your project can begin. -
Step 4 – Construction
Before construction commences, our Building Supervisor will meet on site together with your Sales Consultant, to discuss and plan any strategies, together with the building process.
All works are carried out under the guidance of our Supervisor by experienced, licensed tradespersons in accordance with the plans and specifications set out in the Contract. He also ensures that the time-lines remain on track.
